The performing arts, which usually bring audiences together to share an embodied and living experience, have been severely hampered since the onset of the pandemic. And it is clear that this crisis will ultimately have a huge impact on resources and employment in the sector.

We are urgently trying to absorb the impact of the crisis by rescheduling cancelled shows. And, if necessary, we will reschedule them again.

However, rescheduling cancelled activities will not be enough. The arts will have to reinvent themselves, like all other sectors of society. Radical measures are needed in terms of production and dissemination models
